
Intake Process
Are you interested in registering your child or children with Coast Karma Academy? The following page takes you through our general intake process.

Step 1
To begin the intake process, please submit an application form. We accept new registrations twice per year — before the end of August for a September (fall) start, and before the end of December for a January (new year) start.
While we do make exceptions when space allows, families can generally expect these timelines for consideration and placement.
Step 2
Family/Founder Phone Call
Throughout the year, and especially during active registration periods in the fall and new year, we offer 1:1 phone calls between prospective families and the founders. These calls are a great opportunity to discuss your family’s needs, ask questions, and get an overview of our school environment, expectations, and programs.
If it sounds like Coast Karma Academy could be a good fit, the next step is a school visit.


Step 3
School Visit
Once you’ve had a phone call with Fiona and Glenn and wish to move forward, we’ll invite you and your child for a school visit when the school is not in session. During this visit, families can explore the classrooms to get a feel for the flow and atmosphere of our learning spaces.
This visit helps ensure that Coast Karma Academy feels like the right fit for your child.
Step 4
Complete Enrollment
At this stage, all outstanding paperwork is finalized and submitted, your child’s start date is confirmed, and tuition arrangements are completed.
Once everything is in place, your family’s enrollment is officially confirmed — and we’ll be ready to welcome your child to Coast Karma Academy!
